Hustle, athleticism and in-your-face defense has defined Bates’ two wins in the NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Championship tournament.
Bates defeated St. Vincent College of Latrobe, Pa., on March 6 (92–80), then beat 17th-ranked Stockton University of Galloway, N.J., in overtime the next day, March 7 (68–59).
Bates plays Trinity in Sweet Sixteen play at 5:30 p.m. Friday, March 13, at Babson College.
