Information for Students:

An Alumni Conversation is an opportunity for prospective students to connect one-on-one with a Bates graduate and ask the deeper and specific questions that will help you determine if Bates aligns with your interests and aspirations.

Conversations are not interviews, and they are both optional and informational — meaning you are not being evaluated as part of the application process. Generally, these conversations are considered a fun and interesting way to learn more about what is great about Bates and to network with a Bates alum.

Thank you for your interest in our alumni conversation program. The time has now passed for students to request an alumni conversation for the current application year. We appreciate your enthusiasm, and we hope you visit this page in Fall 2025 when we reopen the interview request form for the 2025-2026 application season.
