Members of the Phillips Society are cordially invited to the Phillips Society Luncheon on April 4, 2025.

The Phillips Society

Inaugurated in 1998, the Phillips Society honors the landmark $9-million endowment bequest of Bates’ fourth president, Charles F. Phillips, and his wife, Evelyn Minard Phillips.

Membership includes more than 550 alumni, parents, and friends who have provided for Bates in their estate plans, trusts, or other financial arrangements.

We invite you to join us for student presentations at the Mount David Summit: A Celebration of Student Academic Achievement, which will take place following the luncheon.

This event provides an excellent opportunity to reconnect with fellow alumni and friends while enjoying a meal and celebrating the academic achievements of current Bates students. President Garry Jenkins will also be in attendance.
