Barlow Alumni Travel Grant Application

The Barlow Alumni Educators Travel Grant awards up to $3,500 each year to support Bates alumni in pursuing an international experience to enhance their educational and professional goals. Applications are welcome from Bates alumni who have been working in K-12 school settings or within the K-12 nonprofit sector on education-related advocacy or service for at least five years. Preference will be given to individuals who work with or within K-12 under-resourced school systems.

The deadline for submitting grant proposals is January 9, 2025.

Requested Budget*
Applicants may apply for a grant of up to $3,500. A budget proposal should include requests for travel expenses, food, lodging, conference and entry fees, and reasonable personal costs associated with travel. The committee will only consider awarding funds for expenses associated with the individual applicant’s travel.
