Join the Boston Bates Business Network and current students to learn about Bobcat Ventures — Bates’ own entrepreneurship challenge.
At this event, alumni, parents, and friends of the college are invited to network with each other. Following the networking session, student entrepreneurs will present practice pitches in preparation for the annual Bobcat Ventures on-campus competition taking place in the spring, where they have the chance to win significant prize money to support their future businesses.
Bobcat Ventures:
Bobcat Ventures is a series of training, coaching, and mentoring events and programs leading to an annual pitch competition. It is organized each year by the Center for Purposeful Work and a group of hard-working students dedicated to growing the entrepreneurial landscape at Bates. The group works with alumni, faculty, and staff all year long to prepare a program that will help teams refine their ideas, projects, or businesses and pitch them successfully in the spring.
