Author Talk: Annabelle Tometich

Bobcat Reads will host an Author Talk with Annabelle Tometich of The Mango Tree.

Join us for a unique opportunity to connect with the author, ask questions, and discuss the book with fellow readers. In this Author Talk, you will explore the book in a way that will enhance your understanding and appreciation of the story.

Annabelle Tometich’s memoir, The Mango Tree, explores her complex mixed-race identity and unconventional upbringing as the daughter of a Filipino mother and a deceased white father. From a childhood filled with vibrant imagery and her mother’s fiery spirit to her winding path from med-school reject to food critic, Tometich’s story is a poignant and humorous journey of family, belonging, and the enduring power of love.
