[WATCH THE RECORDING] Careers in Scientific Research and Biomedical Professions
Join us for the second of our three virtual professional development offerings sponsored by our Alumni Council.
This virtual presentation hosted by Alumni Council members Matt Bogyo ’93, P’27, and Patrick Quirk ’03 will focus on the diverse pathways that lead to careers in science research and biomedicine. This will include discussions with Bates graduates who have chosen different paths to advanced science, engineering, and medicine degrees.
More About the Speakers
Bruce Koch ’79, Ph.D Harvard – Senior Director, Discovery and Technology Services at Stanford University
We will discuss how our panelists decided to obtain advanced training after leaving Bates and explain how they sometimes took winding routes that changed directions at multiple points in their career development, including starting a company to build snowboards and becoming a neurosurgeon!
Participate in an exciting and informative discussion on the many career pathways for Bates graduates interested in science, technology, and medicine.
