Day 2: Having a blast!
Just back from Bartolome!

As you’ll soon hear from Jake and Kristen, we are absolutely loving it here. We have just arrived back from a very long day trip out to Bartolome Island where we hiked a volcanic cone to the top (and our prize was a fabulous and famous view of Pinnacle Rock).

While we were hiking up we spotted four Galapagos hawks; it was serendipitous to see them today since we are having dinner tonight with two hawk researchers from the Parker Lab at the University of Missouri St. Louis. More to come soon!
