About
In July 2021, Jennifer Hyde joined Bates College in the Center for Global Education. Jennifer completed her undergraduate degree in History and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology at Framingham State University in Massachusetts. She discovered her appetite for cross-cultural learning during her semester studying abroad in Prague, Czech Republic at Charles University. Post-graduation, Jennifer spent a year teaching English in Thailand before returning to the U.S. to join the field of international education.
Jennifer’s primary responsibility is off-campus study/study abroad advising at Bates, with a focus on creating accessible, global engagement opportunities for students. Jennifer works closely with the B1st and Kessler programs, as well as financial services, on limiting financial barriers for students interested in studying off-campus.
