September Lunch and Learn – The Art of the Prompt: Enhancing Your Generative AI Prompting

Commons, 221/222
show map

In this session, we’ll dive into the art and science of crafting effective prompts for generative AI tools, helping you enhance how these tools can support your teaching and student learning. We’ll showcase practical use cases that can inspire you to integrate AI into your work. Additionally, we’ll share a model for facilitating class discussions on the role of generative AI, allowing your students to engage critically with this technology.

This is a fantastic opportunity to expand your toolkit, engage with colleagues, and reflect on how new technologies can enhance learning experiences. Although not required to engage, feel free to bring a laptop or tablet to explore AI prompting live with us in the workshop.

You are invited to go through the Commons line and charge your lunch to CITL.

This registration form will allow you to register for any and all of CITL’s Lunch and Learn workshops, which are typically the last workday of each month. All are welcome to attend!

Lunch and Learn Workshops will be from 11:30 am – 1 pm this year. We will structure these to be light discussion or information sharing for the first 30 minutes as people come in with food from Commons (go through the line, charge CITL), eat, and settle in. Then the last hour will be a more interactive workshop.
