Frequently Asked Questions of Students Working in DCCE
When you are sick (other than last minute absences due to illness or emergencies) we expect at least a 2-hour notice before the start time of your shift. Never leave a voicemail, text or email as these may not be received prior to your shift.What do I do if I am running late, sick or have an emergency?
What do I do if I cannot work one of my scheduled shifts?
You will be issued a time card on your first day of work which you will use to punch-in at the beginning of your shift and out at the end. it is your responsibility to punch-in and out and if you miss a punch to alert your supervisor immediately. How do I get paid?
*Note: If you are not properly dressed when you arrive to work, you will be sent back to your room to change.What should I wear to work?
