Student Board Plan Replacement & Athletic Board Plan Replacement Meal Options

Student Board Plan Meal Replacements Options for College Recognized Student Organizations

College recognized student organizations may substitute, at no charge, a basic BBQ ( when in season) or Standard On the Run Meal for those attending events which conflict with meal hours. Requests for replacement meal require no less than a a five working day notice.

  • The requesting organization must have booked space in EMS for the event, or indicated that they will be traveling off  campus
  • The requesting organization must provide Bobcat Catering with the list of individuals attending. Those attending who are not on the board plan will be charged at the rate listed in the Catering Guide 
  • In the case of a BBQs there are only two grills which may be used – Gillespie Hall and Kalperis.. A grill must be reserved through EMS when the space reservation is made. .
  • Standard On the Run Meals s are available throughout the academic year and .BBQs are available from August 31st -October 14th and April 29th-May 20th.
  • The booking organization is responsible for picking up the meal ordered and disposing of any leftovers/waste
  • When ordering a BBQ, Bobcat catering assumes that the requesting organization will be cooking and will be sure to supply the appropriate utensils. If this is not the case Bobcat Catering can arrange for a chef to be be present at the following cost:
    • $30.00 per cook per hour. BBQ cooks are calculated at one cook for every 50 individuals with a minimum of 4 hours charged to cover prep, set-up, cooking and clean-up time.
  • If an organization chooses to schedule a catered event other than a basic BBQ or Standard On the Run Meal  arrangements can be made, but the per person charge will be as listed in the catering guide minus $1.75 for all students on the board plan

 

Academic /Athletic Board Plan Replacements Meals

Bobcat Catering can provide at no-cost replacement meals for academic field trips and recognized athletic teams ( not club sports) who will miss meals  due to a competition , or travel. Orders should be placed by the class professor, or team coach  and a five working day notice is required. Additionally, Bobcat Catering will require a list of those attending and the meal cost for those not on the board plan will be charged  to the ordering team/departments .

The replacement meal consists of:

  • Choice of a standard  On the Run Meal or bulk food items appropriate for the meal/meals  being replaced
  • Beverages at 2 per person per meal – with no more than one of those beverages to be Gatorade

 

Equipment Rentals and Paper Products

Linen Rentals

Linens, china and buffet skirting are included in the cost of events. If you request extra tables to be clothed, or clothed and skirted, you will be billed the following sur-charge:

Equipment Rentals

Equipment used during a catered event is for use during that event only. Items removed from the event will be added to the final bill at replacement cost. Utensils, pots and pans are available for use on a very limited basis. Requests must be made in advance through the catering office. A deposit is due upon pick-up and will be refunded when all items have been returned.
