Charge of the Committee: This committee reviews classroom and research use of vertebrate animals to assure that animals involved are handled properly and humanely. The committee also inspects the animal colony.

Composition: At least three members, one being a faculty member involved in animal research, one being a doctor of veterinary medicine, and one being a public member who is not involved in animal research, affiliated with the College, or related to anyone affiliated with the College.
