Bates recognizes the profound interconnection between good teaching and good scholarship, and supports the faculty in both areas. The College provides funding for scholarship and teaching through a number of intramural grant programs. Each has specific parameters, and deadlines vary, so its useful to look at each program to find the most appropriate resource for funding.
