Charge of the Committee: This committee acts as the organizing body for the activities connected with the College’s official annual commemoration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday.

Composition: Three faculty members, at least one student, the chaplain,
ex officio, the dean of the students, ex officio, and three college administrators chosen by the vice president for academic affairs in consultation with the chair of the committee. In appointing faculty members to this committee, consideration shall be given to appointing faculty interested in or engaged with issues of equity, diversity, or
social justice.
