Germ Warfare: Explaining Changes in Households’ Food-Handling Behaviors
On November 7th, Mario Teisl, Professor and Director of the School of Economics University of Maine, presented his research. His study used Age-Period-Cohort analysis on a national repeated cross-sectional data series to try and tease out behaviors based on new information over the last 20 years, versus external shared shocks in food safety over the last 80 year.
After the talk, Professor Teisl spent some time presenting the Graduate program in Economics at the University of Maine Orono.
