About
Bronwyn is an educator and artist who taught social studies and visual art to students in a variety of grades and settings for fourteen years before coming to Bates. She has presented workshops to teachers in Maine and nationally on topics related to facilitating creativity in classrooms. In her work with established and aspiring teachers, she seeks to translate theory into practice and inspire teachers to become pedagogical leaders in their schools. Her current courses include the Student Teaching sequence, Teaching Through the Arts, and electives in both the Teacher Education and Educational Studies minors.
