Andy Elliot Ricci (he/they) is an Assistant Professor of Digital and Computational Studies. They are a computer scientist with expertise in human-robot interaction (HRI) working at the intersection of technology, identity, and embodiment.
His recent research explores how telepresence robots can help people feel more present and connected during virtual interactions, specifically how human users can express their identity when interacting through a robot body.
