About

Raluca Cernahoschi is Associate Professor of German. She teaches courses in German and European Studies and specializes in 19th through 21st-century German and East-Central European literatures and cultures.

Professor Cernahoschi’s courses and scholarship often pursue questions of ethnic, class, gender, and generational experience and identity. Her teaching interests include German and East-Central European literature and film, the literatures and cultures of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, poetry, film adaptation, and literary geography.

Professor Cernahoschi was co-organizer of the International Poetry Festival and Conference Translations 2011: Cross-Cultural Awareness through Poetry.
