Our local healthcare providers need support in staffing the Lewiston Auburn vaccination clinic at the Auburn Mall. A committed and steady supply of volunteers is critical to the success of the vaccination effort. CMMC is seeking volunteers, where each volunteer is asked to commit to a consistent schedule and to work a minimum of 12 hours each month.Shifts are 6 hours on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday. Shifts are 7:15am-1:30pm and 1pm-7pm.

The various roles CMMC is seeking volunteers to fill are:

• Patient Arrival Coordinator 
• Check in Assistant
• Line Manager
• Vaccinator Registrar
• Post Vaccine Observer
• Cleaning and Supply
• Transport Assistant

Please submit applications to Treasurer@bates.edu or the mail slot in the door of Lane 216. Sign-ups for specific shifts will be done after applications are completed. Applications will be received on a rolling basis. Clinic volunteers with regular service have been identified by the Maine CDC as eligible to receive the vaccine under specific conditions as outlined in both state and Central Maine Healthcare system policies. However, volunteers are not required to be vaccinated before they begin service. If doses are available at the end of a clinic, interested volunteers will be invited to register for vaccination at that clinic, in order of their age.
