Exit Counseling for Borrowers of Federal Direct Student Loans
If you are a Federal Direct Student Loan borrower who is graduating, taking a leave of absence, or withdrawing from Bates, the U.S. Department of Education requires you to complete Exit Counseling. Exit Counseling provides you with important information about the repayment of your federal student loans. Completing this process will provide you with:

- Loan deferment and loan forgiveness options
