Bates participates in the Yellow Ribbon Program for Veterans or Dependents of Veterans.
A provision of the Post-9/11 GI Bill®, the Yellow Ribbon Program provides partial funding for veterans (and their spouses or dependents) to cover the cost of tuition at participating private colleges and universities. The Yellow Ribbon Program then pays for tuition and mandatory fees in excess of $$28,937.09 up to a maximum amount set by the institution per academic year.
Bates provides a matching school contribution of up to $17,500 for an unlimited number of students annually, upon receipt of all completed application requirements.
