My name is Elena and I am from a small snowy town in the north of Russia. I graduated from the university in 2011 in Syktyvkar and my major was teaching English and French. Since then I have been teaching businessmen, confectioners, architects, sportsmen, and other teachers.
Now I live in Ekaterinburg, the capital of the Ural region, which is famous for the chain of mountains that separates Europe and Asia. A famous fairy-tale author Pavel Bazhov was born here and wrote a great series of stories for children describing various Ural regions, their traditions, and vocabulary features.
I have plenty of hobbies like SUP surfing, cross country skiing, skating, and swimming. I never miss a chance to visit an Art gallery or see a new play in the theatre.
I’m an avid reader and I’ll be delighted to talk about modern and classic Russian literature with you.
If you want to practice Russian and find out more about our culture, traditions, or our way of life, I’m open to any talking in the informal and cozy setting.
I’ll be happy to help you out with any grammar or pronunciation difficulty as well as up-to-date vocabulary.”
