Bates’ recurring giving program allows you to divide your Bates Fund gift into manageable increments through convenient automatic deductions from your credit card or checking account. If you’d like to utilize your checking account, please follow the link below, and after clicking “Checkout”, select “Pay with Bank Transfer” to link your banking information. What’s more, you can continue to direct your Bates Fund gift to the Bates programs that mean the most to you!

+How do I update my credit card information?
Please call 1-207-786-6248 or 1-207-786-6236 to speak with a member of our staff. We can update your credit card for you or email you a secure link to update your card in our system. You will also be notified via email when your credit card is about to expire, including a secure link to update your card. Our office hours are 7:30am – 4:00pm EST, Monday through Friday.
+How do I change my recurring gift amounts?
Please call 1-207-786-6248 or 1-207-786-6236 to speak with a member of our staff. Please have your credit card ready as a new payment schedule will be established for the new monthly amount, and your previous schedule will be deactivated. Your credit card number will never be kept on file at Bates. Our office hours are 7:30am – 4:00pm EST, Monday through Friday.
+How do I change my recurring gift designation?

If emailing, please use the email address you originally provided when signing up for your recurring gift. Our office hours are 7:30am – 4:00pm EST, Monday through Friday.
+Can I sign up for recurring gifts using my bank account?
If you’d like to utilize your checking account, please fill out the Recurring Gift ACH Authorization form. You may call 1-207-786-6248 or 1-207-786-6236 or email gifts@bates.edu with any questions. Please return the completed form, including a voided check, to the address listed at the bottom of the form. Deductions will be made on the 15th of each month.
+How do I catch up on missed gifts?
If you miss payments due to an expired or inactive card, once your card information is updated it will automatically be charged once a day for each missed payment until payments are caught up. You can also make a one-time gift at www.bates.edu/give to make up any difference.
+How do I cancel my recurring gift?
