A Bowdoin College historian and photographer present their work, which explores the Androscoggin River’s past, present and future status as a vibrant and complex force in the Lewiston-Auburn community.
Panelists include: Michael Kolster, Associate Professor of Art, Bowdoin College; and Matthew Klingle, Associate Professor of History and Environmental Studies, Bowdoin College.

Panelists include: Elizabeth Stefanski, Chief Market Maker, Business Innovation Factory; Peter Murray, Co-founder and President, Center for Progressive Leadership; Bethany Robertson, Co-founder and former Executive Director, I Do Foundation; and Jonathan Rosenthal, Co-founder, Oke USA, North America’s first fair trade fruit company and Equal Exchange, the first U.S. fair trade coffee company.

“The Killer in Me: Reading the Oslo Manifesto’s Sources”
Professor Sharlet, author and contributing editor to Rolling Stone Magazine and Harper’s Magazine, reflects on the growing virulence of anti-Islamic activism and rhetoric through his analysis of the text of the Oslo killer’s manifesto, which combines and amplifies “respectable” anti-Islamic rhetoric.
