Individual Evaluation Form – Bates College Honors Program

EXAMINER INSTRUCTIONS: Submit this form with a brief evaluation of the candidate’s Honors Program thesis. Use the additional space below if necessary. Your evaluation may comment upon the clarity, originality of thought, thoroughness of the work, and mechanics of the thesis. Include in this evaluation the grounds for your recommendation of the proposed award indicated below. If you select “Honors with reservations” please make clear in your evaluation statement what your reservations are. The evaluators assessment of the written thesis will count 60% of the final award. (This does not hold for a performance thesis). Submit this sheet by the time of the scheduled exam.
