Country music is perfect for every occasion. Whether that moment is laying in the sun with a cold drink in hand, getting pumped up before a game with your teammates, or even, mucking some stalls, country has a song for every every single moment. Even though country has gotten extremely popular within the past couple years, some of the best songs are from, “back in the day.” Fishin’ in the Dark by the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band and Chatahoochee by Alan Jackson force me to get up, sing along, and dance. Despite these late 80’s and early 90’s hits, I do love some of the more recent artists like Luke Bryan and Jason Aldean. Though they do tend to take on more of a pop feel, I can still find the perfect song for the right moment. Country has the ability to talk about love, hate, happiness, sadness, etc., and that’s what makes me enjoy country music the way I do.
