Princeton, Harvard, and Columbia University Press e-books now available
15 college and university libraries, including Bates, are collaborating with Princeton, Harvard, and Columbia University Presses to provide access to current electronic book content. Bates students and faculty, through the library catalog and LibrarySearch+, will be able to search and download almost all current, full-text books these publishers offer on or before the print version is available. The goal of this pilot project is to have publishers develop a more liberal approach to licensing electronic content to academic libraries.
Many are now in the catalog and more will be coming!
