Library’s Instructional Room
The Library Instruction Room, located in Room 148 on the first floor of the Ladd Library, is to be used primarily for hands-on instruction, with first priority given to classes for Library or Information Services. When not scheduled, the Instruction Room is used as a public computing area for students, and this use will receive priority during busy periods in the academic semesters.
If not in use for Library or Information Services classes other uses may include:
- Demonstrations for academic or administrative purposes.
- Classes or meetings for Library or Information Services staff.
- Outside meetings sponsored by members of the Bates Community.
- Student groups with legitimate need of the projection or computing equipment.
This room is not intended to be a site for continuing or regularly scheduled classes. It is not to be used solely for video projection.
