Quandrangle Poetry Competition and served as a guest lecturer in a career counseling class at Antioch New England Graduate School…. Randy Bates writes: “Wyatt is a robust 19-pound boy now (as of his six-month check-up) and just figuring out the ways of the world. Sister Isabel (2) calls him ‘Wazzit,’ loves pounding on his chest as her way of tickling him, and gives him an occasional push to let him know who the elder is.” Tara is with the York County District Attorney’s Office doing appellate work; she’s able to work out of the house except when she has to argue in front of court. Randy recently marked his fifth year at the Cumberland County District Attorney’s Office. “I am now prosecuting all felonies and have managed to do about 100 jury trials. Sometimes, it is a tremendous job that is full of reward and, at other times, you just have to shake your head and wonder how people can do such things to others.”… Christine Behr Sarrazin and husband Paul enjoy being homeowners and dog-owners…. Phil Bonasia continues working at Sepracor as director of analytical R&D. Pauline is at Genzyme. Daughter Jackie is 6 and son Austin is 4. Last October, Phil and Pauline traveled to Beijing for a wedding and crammed as much sightseeing as possible into one week…. Walter Thompson. She’s now a part-time housewife and helping a friend at his optical shop. “We were actually flying home on Sept. 11 and were three hours outside of Chicago when we had to turn around and fly back to Vienna where we stayed for five more days before we could come home.”
My most vivid memory of Peter Goodrich is from freshman year. I was up at Pete and Butch’s room and the phone began to ring. The floor of the room was buried in at least two feet of clothes, food, etc., so they couldn’t even find the phone before it stopped ringing! I know this is not the most flattering picture of Pete, but thinking about it always makes me laugh, which is how I’d like to remember Pete.

Then it’s back to live in Dublin where my own dance company has been in residency since 2000.”… Amy Freeman Winslow writes: “After seven years heading up the Univ. of Utah women’s soccer team, my husband Jim and I will be leaving Salt Lake City. Joshua Forrester Winslow’s birth last summer made our travel season in the fall interesting as he was only six weeks old on his first trip to the Univ. of Florida with the team. There was a day our freshman year when I was being quiet in sadness. Peter noticed my sadness even though I was not crying. He came up to me and without a word, he gave me a big bear hug that lasted quite a long time. When he released me from his hug, he smiled at me with both his mouth and eyes. He then left me to my thoughts without ever saying a word. He was a comfort to me that day, and he gave me strength.

Peter used to pick me up over his head and toss me into the pole vault mats during track practice. He did this with a bunch of us pole vaulters, who were no match for his hammer-throwing size. We feigned at putting up a fight, but actually we all enjoyed it. He was a wonderfully kind guy.
