The Concord (Mass.) volunteer was among 179 National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) members serving in the Southeast region in Charleston, S.C. The members’ projects included tutoring elementary school children, blazing trails in Tennessee, and building dozens of homes with Habitat for Humanity chapters.
