Selections from the recent Class Letter: In South Portland, Frank Coffin enjoys his work as senior judge…. Bob Hulsizer may be officially retired but is still working on first-year physics courses. He’s leaving quarks and gluons (whatever they are) to his younger colleagues. He said physics is fun to teach, especially when you have interesting students and a long summer vacation…. Lib MacGregor Bates has joined the group with replacement parts. She had a new knee installed last year. She hopes for more hiking and skiing soon…. Ira Nahikian and Mary are settled into the routine of their retirement community and find plenty to do right there…. Bob Plaisted and Trudy went to Milwaukee, Wis., last fall to attend the 14th USNR Midshipmen’s School New York Alumni Group 2003 Reunion…. Harry and Bea Wilson Shepherd ’42 invite everyone to come visit them at Piper Shores in Scarborough, Maine, where they have lived for the last two years. The community is located right on the coast where Winslow Homer painted.
