Lincoln Benedict ’09 of Shaftsbury, Vt., and his roommate, Ben Linder ’09 of Concord, N.H., seen here, learned that the stunning view from their apartment would also include the weekly fireworks display at the Prater amusement park. The Ferris wheel at the center of the photo is the famous Riesenrad — “the one in the wonderful scene from The Third Man,” reports Benedict, who apparently knows his film noir.
