Landscape Rap
We are rapping about landscape this week. Students wrote poetry that made them think about colors in a landscape. How does a color taste, feel like, smell like? We all started with a piece of paper with a color listed at the top. In a round robin exercise we then passed the paper to the left after thinking of a phrase that related to the color. For example, “Grey as an old man’s teeth” After doing two complete rounds of this, students were asked to think of rhyming words and objects for their color. Next week students will bring in music they like and we will put words together from these lists in a rap, I hope! Check back next week to see what they come up with!
