Peter Homitzsky (German-American, 1942-2018)
Realist landscape painter Homitzsky emigrated to the United States with his father, the Russian poet and playwright Vsevolod Homitzky in 1951. Peter studied in Arizona, the Arts Students League in New York City, and the San Francisco Art Institute in California. Homitzsky was also a dedicated teacher at the Arts Student League.
