A live-streamed concert presented by the Olin Concert Series

Ana Vidovic (pronounced, vid-oh-vich), at the age of 13, became the youngest student ever admitted to National Academy of Music in Zagreb, Croatia. She began touring that same year, and has continued to charm audiences across the globe ever since and has become known as one of the premiere concert guitarists in the world. Ms. Vidovic’s reputation in Europe led to an invitation to study with Manuel Barrueco at the Peabody Conservatory. She is known for her beautiful tone, precise technique and well-defined phrasing as well as her thoughtful artistry and musicianship. Ms. Vidovic will play two sets of classical guitar pieces, spanning the centuries, live from the Olin concert hall and live-streamed.

Limited in-person tickets are available for students, faculty, and staff. Reservations are required.

A recording of the live-stream will be made available after the performance.

The Bates College Department of Music is excited to announce that departmentally hosted concerts, indoors and out, are officially open to the public for fully vaccinated individuals, masks required. Please read our Concert Attendance Policy for more information.
