Beth Billington is the only senior on the 2008 Bates volleyball team, and the middle blocker from St. Paul, Minn., came up big for the Bobcats in a 4-1 week that pulled the team’s record to an even .500 at 9-9.

Billington led Bates in attack percentage, at .356, averaging a team second-best 2.32 kills per set. She also led the team in blocking at 0.89 blocks per set (17 overall).

Billington played in her final home match Wednesday night against Bowdoin; she and the Bobcats travel to Eastern Connecticut State University this Friday and Saturday for the Crabtree Invitational round robin tournament.
