The Boston Globe offers a reading by poet Rob Farnsworth
Boston Globe reporter Martin Finucane attends poet Rob Farnsworth’s reading at the Boston Athenaeum and describes how “the poet spun out his images in a quiet, intimate voice as the iron-gray light streamed from tall windows into the Long Room…. Between poems, the silence was complete – except for the rustling sound of a reporter turning the pages of his notebook.” Farnsworth read from his new book, Rumored Islands, and rapt listeners included his former student Howard Martin ’03, a Phi Beta Kappa grad and English major. “You really kind of get transported by it,” said Martin.
