WCSH news offers update on Kaluba '10, a 'teen who cares'
WCSH-TV, southern Maine’s NBC affiliate, updates its 2007 story on Chomba Kaluba ’10, who received a Teens Who Care award three years ago. The update notes that Kaluba, who grew up in Zambia, “hasn’t stopped helping others.” He has worked with efforts to eradicate HIV/AIDS in Tanzania, Kenya, Zambia and South Africa. He went to Guatamala with the Maine-based group Safe Passage to help families who work at the garbage dumps. And he’s started a foundation to help people in his native Zambia.
