Channel 6 TV news magazine profiles pianist Frank Glazer, now age 99
The Channel 6 TV news magazine 207 profiles pianist Frank Glazer, Bates’ remarkable 99-year-old artist in residence.
“Ninety-nine? I can’t believe it,” Glazer says. “It’s as though it’s thrust upon you all of a sudden. Especially if you feel like I do, like 35 inside.”
This Saturday, Glazer performs with Bates colleague James Parakilas, the Moody Family Professor of Performing Arts, for a performance with the Bates College Orchestra in a program including a Mozart concerto for two pianos.
