Slideshow: 2015 Puddle Jump hits great heights
The annual Puddle Jump, held on Jan. 23 as part of Winter Carnival festivities, drew hundreds of students to Lake Andrews for a Bobcat ritual first begun back in 1975.
The event begins with the ceremonial arrival of the Winter Carnival torch, born by members of the Bates Outing Club. Apre-jump, students adjourn to a bonfire along the shoreline to warm up.
