Here’s a flip version of the spring 2020 issue of Bates Magazine, which was mailed to safe-at-home Bobcats near and far in recent weeks.
This issue neared its completion as Bates moved to remote learning and remote work, so you may find some unintended poignancy in our chronicling of pre-COVID days (it’s certainly there for us). To that end, we’ll be checking in with some of the spring issue’s featured subjects, especially the alumni in Maine whose work and endeavors have a summertime flavor.
For those looking for current insight — through stories, photography, and video — into how Bates and Bates people are confronting the pandemic with, as the Alma Mater says, “pluck that shall not fail,” here are our latest COVID-related Bates News stories.
Stay safe!
