Musicians from Texas, Ohio, North Carolina and Maine will bring fresh perspectives to traditional sounds during the third annual WRBC Roots Music Festival from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 15, at the Florence Keigwin Amphitheater, adjacent to the Olin Arts Center, at Bates College, 75 Russell St.

Featuring popular Maine acts and a nationally known headliner, the Bates College radio station sponsors the WRBC Roots Music Festival from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, at Keigwin Amphitheater, adjacent to the Olin Arts Center on Russell Street. The festival is free and open to the public. In the case of rain the event will be moved to the Clifton Daggett Gray Athletic Building, 130 Central Avenue. Laurie Geltman, a Boston-based singer, songwriter and guitarist, has joined the slate of Maine and nationally known performers in the WRBC Roots Music Festival at Bates College, taking place from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, at Keigwin Amphitheater, adjacent to the Olin Arts Center on Russell Street.
