Where is the OIE located?
We are located at Chase Hall, 56 Campus Ave, Lewiston, ME 04240, Suite 140
What are the OIE’s hours?
As of 2023, the OIE is ID-card accessible for students 24/7.
Professional staff are generally available between 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays. After 5:00p, OIE Community Navigators are staffing the space and can be found sitting at the front entrance of the OIE.

Who is able to access the OIE?
Any current Bates student with a active campus ID card can access the OIE. Even though the OIE prioritizes it’s programming/events for students who are first generation, LGBTQ+ and/or students from marginalized backgrounds and experiences, ALL students welcome to utilize the space. Respect of one another and the overall space is crucial and we ask everyone to do their part in helping the OIE be a welcoming and inviting space for all.
