One of the many things that makes Bates Outing Club is so great is  the traditions that have lasted through the decades. Ranging from hanging out at the lean-to, to hiking in Baxter State Park in October, and of course, Puddle Jump during Winter Carnival in January. We cherish these traditions and enjoy making new ones each year.
