Hello, Bates Families –

As we approach the close of the academic year, we want to share some resources with you.

• The Housing team has a detailed guide on the move-out process, including a link to local storage options. 
• When reviewing the 2021-2022 academic calendar, you will see that student arrival dates are not yet confirmed. The college is waiting a little longer than usual in order to monitor national COVID case trends and vaccination progress. Students and families will be alerted by email as soon as arrival dates are announced. 
• The Mount David Summit, the college’s annual celebration of student academic achievement, will take place virtually on Saturday, May 15. This free event is open to all; register here.
• We enjoyed seeing many of you at our last Bates family networking event. The video of our guest expert, Allen Delong from Bates Purposeful Work, has been shared with families directly.

Signs of spring are popping up everywhere on campus, and we hope you – and your students! – have enjoyed seeing them as much as we have.
