Hello, Bates Class of 2028 families – 

The month of August has begun, which means Arrival Day will be here before we know it!

We are getting ready for your Bobcats’ arrival on campus, and we know that you are getting ready, too. We have some helpful resources and reminders as you make your plans.

• Bookmark the Arrival Day FAQ just for family members to find answers to the most common inquiries around move-in. This resource includes an overview of the schedule on August 29 for families, as well as some insider packing tips. 
• For even more insider packing tips, sign up for the first of our Family Orientation Webinars, which will feature a panel of current Bates parents discussing their own Arrival Day experiences.
• Your Bobcat received their fall course schedules and housing assignments this week at their Bates email address. Students can reach out to the First-Year Experience team or the Residence Life team with any questions.
• Additional Lyceum Summer Resources and First-Year Forms will become available to students throughout August. Your students receive regular reminders about upcoming deadlines to their Bates email address, so please remind them to read the detailed information provided by the FYE team.

Did you know? Bates has partnered with Roomie to provide 3D models of campus housing. Students received a personalized link with their housing assignments at their Bates email address and can use that link to take a virtual tour of their room, measure the space, and try different furniture arrangements.
