End of Semester Updates for Families
Greetings from campus, Bates Families –
As we near the end of the semester, we wanted to send along a few important reminders to help you and your students plan ahead.
- Thanksgiving Recess began Saturday, Nov. 23, and while campus is quiet this week, it won’t be for long. Classes resume Monday, Dec. 2.
- While residence halls remain open over the Thanksgiving Recess, students on campus should note that Commons is operating on reduced hours and will be closed Thursday, Nov. 28 – Friday, Nov. 29.
- Winter Break is just around the corner! Exams run Tuesday, Dec. 10 – Monday, Dec. 16, and residence halls will close at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 17.
- With the end of the semester and final exams in sight, now is the perfect time to remind your Bobcat of all the campus resources available to support them as they navigate this busy time. If they’re not sure where to start, their Student Support Advisor (SSA) can guide them in the right direction.
Did you know? As students prepare for travel, they can find out more about transportation options by checking out these resources from Campus Safety. The information will help them make the journey home or wherever they’re headed!
We hope that your students are looking forward to a well-deserved break, and wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving and upcoming holiday season!
Warmly,
The Bates Parent Team
