Hello, Bates Class of 2027 families – 

Summer weather hasn’t quite hit campus yet, but we hope you and your students are feeling warmly welcomed to the Bates community. We have a few updates below to share with you that you won’t want to miss!

• Incoming students are now hearing regularly from the First-Year Experience team at their Bates email address and via the Garnet Gateway. Please remind your student about upcoming June 16 and July 1 deadlines for forms.
• Registration is open for all our in-person and virtual welcome events. We have added additional in-person events in Portland, OR, and Seattle, WA, so be sure to check the schedule. We look forward to meeting you!
• Remember you can always update your contact information, answer 3 easy questions to join our moderated Class of 2027 Families Facebook group for parents and guardians, or reach out with any questions.
