Hello, Bates Class of 2027 families – 

Summer is moving along, and Arrival Day will be here before we know it. Here are a few items to keep in mind over the next few weeks:

• Please remind your new Bobcat to check their Bates email and the Garnet Gateway regularly. Several first-year experience summer resource modules have already been released. Students have also received updates that First Year Seminar registration opens at 10 a.m. ET on Monday, July 17 and that a webinar on course registration will be held on July 18 for incoming students. 
• Just for parents/guardians, registration is open for all our August virtual parent-to-parent events. These are excellent opportunities to hear from current Bates families in your general geographic region, get answers to your specific questions, and connect on-screen with other new families. (Sorry – these sessions are not recorded.)
• Finally, this FAQ is a handy resource as you begin to plan your student’s travel to and from Bates. It’s definitely worth bookmarking!
